Mohammed Siraj riles up Gabba crowd, Australia with ‘bail flip’, Marnus Labuschagne responds – Watch | Cricket News – Times of India

Mohammed Siraj continued his antics in the Border Gavaskar Trophy on Day 2 of the Brisbane Test at the Gabba as he riled up the crowd and Marnus Labuschagne with a ‘bail flip‘.
Labuschagne, who had a face-off with Siraj in the Adelaide Test as well, came in to bat after Jasprit Bumrah removed both the openers in quick succession on Sunday. And to keep the Australian No. 3 under pressure, Siraj came up with his latest antic.
After Labuschagne battled his way to 10, Siraj walked right up to the Aussie batter and flipped the bails over at the striker’s end. After Siraj had done his bit, Labuschagne flipped the bails back over, and the crowd enjoyed the moment with a loud cheer. Soon after, Nitish Reddy removed Labuschagne for 12.

In Adelaide, the duo were involved in a heated moment when Siraj threw the ball back at the stumps after Labuschagne pulled out at the last moment as a man carrying a big pile of empty beer mugs walked right across the sight screen.
Siraj later gave a send-off to local boy Travis Head, who scored a match-winning century, a fiery send-off after dismissing him. The crowd booed Siraj’s every move at the Adelaide Oval thereafter.
Australia won the Adelaide Test by 10 wickets to level the five-Test series at 1-1 after India had clinched the opener by 295 runs in Perth.

Siraj and Head were later penalised for their actions, with the Indian fined 20 percent of his match fee and Head reprimanded. Both also received one demerit point.
On the rain-hit day one at the Gabba, Siraj was welcomed to the bowling crease with boos from the crowd.
