Meghan Markle appears to have left a lasting impression on the participants attending the Invictus Games after an unexpected meeting.
The Duchess of Sussex has been a constant presence next to her husband Prince Harry as they make appearance at multiple events taking place during the nine-day long Games.
During the Vancouver games, Meghan and Harry had surprised teams as they showed up during breakfast on Saturday morning, the first official day of Invictus.
The royal couple, who had a packed schedule, took their time to interact with fans and attendees.
Bryce Ewing, who is in USA Team competing in snowboarding, swimming, rowing and seated volleyball, dubbed the Sussexes as “so down to earth” following their meeting.
She also noted a surprising detail about Meghan given their brief encounter.
“When Meghan looks at you, she really looks at you, and you feel it in your soul,” Ewing told People Magazine. “She’s really caring. She’s very intuitive. She’s so down to earth, and she looks like she really cares.”
The player added that while “people were pulling them away,” Meghan and Harry were “still trying to sit and talk.”
She shared that the couple would “just notice little things” about the people they met.
“I think one of our friends had a picture of her mom and dad in the back of her phone case, and she was walking away, and [Meghan] was like, ‘Oh, I really like that picture.’ They just noticed everything, and they were just so happy to be there.”
Prince Harry and Meghan have currently moved on to Whistler to attend the remaining set to events which will take place in the location.
