Liam Payne’s death investigation finally lifts the lid on his toxicology report, detailing his final moments ahead of his passing.
The former One Direction singer, who plunged to death from the third-floor balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was reportedly supplied with drugs that contributed to his untimely demise.
Further investigations into the former X Factor contestant’s tragedy revealed that the judge decided to press charges against two hotel employees, including the head receptionist, who had raised the alarm about the late singer’s behaviour.
This comes on the heels of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor Office’s report on November 7, revealing that substances like “alcohol, cocaine and prescription antidepressants” were present in Liam’s body at the time of his death.
According to the Mirror, “Liam did not adopt a reflexive posture to protect himself in the fall, so that, for the moment, it can be inferred that he may have fallen in a state of semi- or total unconsciousness.”
Investigators have concluded the case after ruling out any possibility of a suicide attempt, proving that he was not fully conscious when he fell to his death.
