To capitalise on this surge, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) is rolling out this appealing offer, which remains valid even after the Diwali festivities.

Under this special offer, visitors can enjoy a generous 40% discount specifically at hotels in Manali, making it a prime destination for weekend getaways. Overall, discounts will be available at 56 HPTDC hotels spread across various locations including Kullu, Dharamshala, and beyond. Tourists are encouraged to book their stays online through the HPTDC website to secure these limited-time offers.

As temperatures begin to dip across the region, the distinct cold weather is making its presence felt, particularly in high-altitude areas. The mercury has dropped to a chilly 0.7 degrees Celsius in Tabo, Lahaul Spiti, while Hamirpur experiences a warmer 32 degrees. Anticipation is building as the Meteorological Department forecasts potential snowfall and rain in higher elevations of Mandi and Kullu, along with Chamba, Lahaul Spiti, and Kinnaur on October 29. However, clearer skies are expected in the days to follow.
