Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed consequences of sharing a photo from the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot starring her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
During her conversation on Live with Kelly and Mark, Sarah shared she got in “trouble” after sharing the photo.
Sarah said she wasn’t allowed to post any behind-the-scenes photos, but accidently did it.
She said, “You would think that being in my position, I know what rules are on sets when they say closed sets, you know.”
“So my husband’s starring in the movie and it was Thanksgiving so I took our kids to Australia to go out there and visit him. And I was sitting on set and I was like, ‘Oh what a great picture,’ and then I posted it,” the actress added.
The photo led to the creation of an official social media page for the film, which gained a lot of attention.
“I found out that they hadn’t posted any pictures from the set yet — hadn’t announced they started filming. That was an ‘Oops! My bad!'” she said.
Sarah added, “That’s the movie Freddie and I met on. So it’s like, it was really cool to bring our kids there. It was just such a special time.”
The photo Sarah posted showcased the director’s chair with the movie’s title and Gellar jokingly captioned it, “Scooby Doo 3 coming soon…”
