Princess Eugenie and Beatrice have taken a big step amid their father Prince Andrew’s latest scandal related to UK’s national security.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, per People magazine, Prince Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their respective families will not join the annual get-together hosted by King Charles.
They have declined the invitation from King Charles, the report further claims.
The report went on claiming Beatrice and Eugenie are believed to be spending the day with their respective husbands’ families, amid the current controversy surrounding Prince Andrew.
Eugenie and Beatrice have taken the big step after their parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s voluntary decision to give the annual celebrations, including the Christmas day walk to St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, a miss.
The royal insiders believe Sarah and Andrew are likely to remain at Royal Lodge.
Meanwhile, Eugenie and her family have also been invited by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to spend Christmas in California with them.
