Prince William kicks off Christmas celebration with sweet personal letter

Prince William lauds efforts of young boy in personal letter

Prince William extended warm wishes to 11-year-old Henil Soni for his remarkable achievement.

According to The Sun, the talented kid “created a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by solving 3,000 Rubik’s Cubes” within 51 minutes at Harwich and Dovercourt High School in Essex on Friday.

Notably, the young boy invited the future King to the event. Unfortunately, William was not able to make it to the Henil’s world record attempt.

However, Kensington Palace sent a gratitude note on behalf of the Prince of Wales in which he expressed gratitude towards the young champ for honouring his late grandmother.

The letter reads, “Dear Mrs Soni, The Prince of Wales would have me thank you for your letter, in which you invite His Royal Highness to your son’s world record attempt in December.”

“Although The Prince is unable to attend on this occasion, it was most interesting to hear about Henil’s wonderful achievements and His Royal Highness would have me express his sincere hope that the event will be a success.”

“It was thoughtful of Henil to honour Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in this way. The Prince of Wales would have me send his warmest thanks and very best wishes to you and to Henil.”

It is important to note that William’s personal message came after he kicked off the Christmas holidays with his wife Princess Kate and children, Prince Geroge, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, at their Georgian home, Anmer Hall, located on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
