Prince Harry extended love and support to his father, King Charles, during his challenging battle with cancer.
According to the former royal butler, Grant Harrold, the Duke of Sussex paid a heartfelt tribute to the monarch during his recent headline-making trip to New York City.
The royal family’s well-wisher explained how Harry not only extended the philanthropist work of his late mother, Princess Diana, but, he also passionately supported the cause, which is close to his father’s heart.
As reported by In Touch Weekly, Grant said, “[Harry’s mother, the late Princess] Diana was a massive advocate for so many charities, and Harry has been inspired by that. This trip has seen Harry speak about his mother and her legacy and it’s definitely a tribute to her.”
During the same trip, the Duke ‘honoured’ his dad as he “spoke passionately about climate change, which is a cause close to his father’s heart.
Moreover, Grant shared that Harry, who stepped down from his senior royal role in 2020, seemingly sent a message of “love and respect” to the monarch.
He further shared, “I think he’s wanted to go out there and give a nod of support to his dad, and maybe he’ll hope that Charles will see this and get behind him.”
Harry’s latest move hinted at his desire to make peace with his family back in the UK especially his father, King Charles.
