Duchess Sophie and Kate Middleton, who appeared together at Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 9, made interesting comments about Prince William’s new look.
The Princess of Wales and Duchess of Edinburgh were all smiles and in good spirits during the event and hilariously discussed change in Prince of Wales’s personality.
William’s daughter was in tears seeing her dad with beard, but Princess Kate appeared agreeing with the general public.
Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Sun Princess Catherine had a spicy response about her husband’s stubble when talking to the Duchess of Edinburgh during Remembrance Sunday on the Foreign Office balcony.
According to the expert, Sophie asked, “You like a beard?,” to which Kate Middleton responded as saying, “I find it quite rousing.”
The Duchess then teased that the future King’s whiskers had cured her, presumably referring to Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
“You’re all better now,” the royal said as both laughed.
Another lip reader Kayleigh Harris told the outlet that the Princess of Wales responded to Wessex’s initial inquiry saying that the facial hair is “never quite rounded.”
Harris added that Sophie then said that it was “a nice beard” and that “it’s a lot better now.”
Prince William left fans divided with his latest look as some admire the heir to the throne for his change, while few other think it’s because the Prince is going through the difficult phase due to health crisis within the royal family.
